Our mission is to provide an affordable means to match junior golfers around the world with a college or university that meets both their academic and athletic goals.
Introduction
The Next Tee views junior golf as a stepping stone. It is an opportunity for young people to develop both their athletic and social (or life) skills. Earning a scholarship to play college golf is both a recognition of past performances and a vote of confidence for a student-athlete’s potential.
Challenge
Over the last twenty years, we have witnessed too many good junior players not receive college scholarships or the opportunity to play college golf because they did not have the correct “go to team,” to help make it happen. We have also watched student-athlete’s accept scholarships, only to discover later that the school was not their “best” match athletically or academically. Starting with the 2009 graduating class, that is about to change!
The Next Tee is the BEST way for you to introduce yourself to anyone of the 1,500 college coaches in our database. It is also a great way for you to receive feedback and help you begin to choose the RIGHT school, matching your athletic and academic talents.
Once you have joined The Next Tee you will have access to your online resume 24/7 to make changes and update. You will also have the ability to email your resume (and video, if you choose that option) to school that you are interested in attending. You can also research schools, learn more about the NCAA and the recruiting process and plan your summer schedule using our list of local, regional and national tournament.
